After turning 18, Luna gets tickets to move to New York, her dream place. Though she has to face the stress and anxiety of what the real world is. She later meets two people who introduce her to two more, they all become good friends with her, even if she doesn't believe it. They try to help her learn New York ways, maybe even move there, but it's her choice, to stay or leave.

And she does end up finding a friend when she meets Jack Metzger, who is one of her new roommates at Columbia, and who turns out to be the only person she's ever met who sees the world the same way she does. They quickly become close, and Rhiannon can't help but wonder if there could be something more than friendship between them. Will she follow her heart, or will she hide her feelings in fear of losing the one person who truly understands her?
