In life they were lovers, but when the house caught on fire, the older didn't make it. The younger, wrecked with grief, threw himself into the ocean, letting it claim him. But neither knew they would be reincarnated. the older as a dragon representing his firey end. the younger as a merman representing his watery grave. They don't remember each other anymore, however a chance meeting brings them back together. one belongs to the sky, the other to the sea. nature keeps them separate, but they want to be together. the only question is how?

A drawing inspired all of this (The drawing is on the cover) I decided that I would elaborate on it and put my own spin on it and basically make it into my own story!
