"One day, I'm going to destroy the pathetic authority the Akademiya wields over Sumeru." Y/n L/n, a scholar and the assistant of the Akademiya scribe, Alhaitham, despises two things: the Akademiya's control over Sumeru and the General Mahamatra. Besides those two, she's a fiery and energetic woman that can be easily conversed with. When Alhaitham suddenly receives a file over a certain myth and soon asked about it by the traveler, Y/n is suddenly forced to cooperate with the General. One thing leads to another and soon, she is uncovering past secrets about herself and the very man she despises. Kaveh got rejected from artschool and gets forced to go to the Akademiya. He would rather be anywhere but there, the person he ever grew close to was the gray haired boy whose name has faded in his memories. But little does he know he will be reunited with his gray haired childhood bestfriend.

Alhaitham guessed the latter, as the former wasn't likely, considering the fact that he worked for the Akademiya. But then again, given Azar's previous hiring policies, it wouldn't exactly surprise Alhaitham if the scholar had barely passed his thesis statement. "About the funding for Spantamad, the ley lines have been acting up recently, so could you approve-" "My working hours are listed outside my office," Alhaitham interrupted tersely. "Contact me then." "But Grand Sage-" "Acting Grand Sage Alhaitham. My position is nothing else if temporary. If you wish to raise a complaint about my working hours, please take it up with Lesser Lord Kusanali. Kaveh walked the path of self-destruction to people-please and follow his own moral compass. In the end, if their lives were depicted on a stage, Kaveh's story wouldn't be the only tragedy. In the vast space, amidst the stars and the endless void, there exist celestial beings, stronger than any archon you can think of. Tighnari has loved Cyno since their Akademiya years. However, due to a sage rule put in place long ago, he thinks that Cyno will uphold the laws of Sumeru over all else, disregarding his feelings he feels freakish for. Cyno figures out his feelings for Tighnari much later in life, and all he can think about is how he's wrong for doing so. How ironic that it is that he's pledged to uphold the laws, but is willing to break them immediately for one man. Will the two men figure out their feelings for each other and get over their existential dread of a rule that could end up hurting both of them? Set in the 3.6 Interdarshan Championship event.
