Bookmarking her textbooks back in university when she'd fall asleep with her arm halfway down the floor. Saving her a seat two heads away from his when she'd arrive late for their lectures. The little note in their office that tells her that the little boy she treated visited and got her a bear plush as a thank you for his successful surgery. Small things that make Chishiya Shuntarō sound 𝘯𝘰𝘵 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘣𝘢𝘥. Then, she finds that maybe, 𝘮𝘢𝘺𝘣𝘦 she hates him a little less. He messes that train of thought up the next day, quick as it went. They're back at square one. They never make it to square two.
