𝐈𝐍 𝐖𝐇𝐈𝐂𝐇 : You were an aspiring lawyer, but it all came crashing down when your Mum, Dad and two younger brothers tragically died back in November 1983 due to the Gun Devil's appearance. You want to find and kill the gun devil yourself, so you end up working for public safety, as a devil hunter. One day, you are called to Makima's office just before the start of your shift. Makima didn't waste time-another person was stood inside the room. She informed that, effective immediately, you would be assigned a new partner, and Makima had already decided who it would be. Aki Hayakawa.

The sun was setting over Tokyo, painting the city in hues of orange and purple. You had just finished a long day at work, feeling the weight of the world on your shoulders. As you walked through the crowded streets, your mind was a whirlwind of thoughts, mostly about the mundane aspects of life. That's when you first saw him.
