They eventually come to realize the depth of morality people will descend to in order to attain power and hedonism. They also come to realize the beauty in life despite strife and the love and compassion that can come from those who have nothing. To complete this case they must reciprocate trust in each other which then evolves into something more intimate. I hate everything about this fanfiction this story is really fucked up but i swear it's romantic I'm not good at coming up with names hence why they all sound like something George RR Martin shat out

Oreki Mado, younger brother of Akira Mado was found dead in a construction site along with a Ghoul. Oreki was then brought to a hospital for surgery where he was implanted with the Ghouls body from the Construction Site. Eversince that time, Oreki has been presumed dead but was actually a One Eyed Ghoul. He was taken in by Yoshimura, an Old Man who runs a Coffee Shop called Anteiku. Will he be able to live his life to the fullest as a Ghoul?
