Karasuno High School and Tenru High do an exchange every year sending American students to Karasuno High School for a month during the school year and the Japanese students who are taking Advanced English, meaning they are wanting to learn the language, visit America in return for a month. To be able to visit the other country the students have to host one of the American or Japanese students. Tsukishima, who is only taking Advanced English for jobs, is forced to sign up for the hosting after his mom sees the letter he brought home from his teacher. The day before his host student is to arrive he gets a letter from his teacher telling him that he has to host a female student due to not enough females who are hosting from his class. Tsukishima always lived in a closed minded household. His mother was homophobic, his brother on the other hand was very supportive of the LGBTQ+ community. His father left them around the time Tsukishima was born so he's never met his dad, it's always just been the three of them for years. Akiteru always told Kei to keep an open mind, his mother always told him what's right and what's wrong in life, and the LGBTQ community wasn't in the 'right' section. Tsukishima learned how horrible his mother is at a young age. Akiteru had brought a friend over..a special friend is how Akiteru would explain it to Kei. When Tsukishima met Yamaguchi he kept his distance for awhile, his mother of course liked this approach however his brother told him that he should spend more time with the freckled boy. Tsukishima took Akiteru's advice over his mother's and hung out with Tadashi more. They had sleep overs almost every week, they went to parks, they played pretend, all the normal things young kids love to do with their best friends. As the years went by he hung out and got closer to Yamaguchi, he realized while he was in high school that he might have feelings for the boy. He of course didn't tell his mother, he instead told his brother and his brother helped him through the whole mess of feelings. What do you think would happen if his mother found out? This a one-shot story of what I think the Karasuno first years would act like going trick or treating! In this story, they are around 6 years old or first grade. It is about 3543 words. However, the one person that doesn't seem to know about Oikawas feelings is the person he wants to tell the most, Akiteru. Oikawa thrives for his sensei's attention, whether it be answering questions in class, or asking for help when he clearly doesn't need it. Oikawa wants it, he wants his senseis attention. He wants to hear his voice, he wants to feel his eyes on him, he wants to smell the scent of his sensei's cologne which he wears everyday. He wants Akiteru, in oh so many ways. One day, Akiteru finds out that Oikawas grades have been slipping and asks him to stay afterschool to discuss what's bothering him, Oikawa protests that there's nothing wrong but soon realises that this could be an opportunity to spend some more time with his Sensei. Oikawa is looking forward to it. Because this time, he's going to get his sensei to listen to his reasons..in more ways than one.
