So this is the first book in my Aladarius headcannon series. The story starts where Alador and Darius are teens. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Darius has a secret. He is hopelessly, agonizingly in love with his best friend. Alador is a beautiful, brilliant, grease-covered mess, and every single brush of their shoulders sends a jolt of lightning down Darius's spine. But Darius would rather die than risk admitting his feelings and losing the one person who truly matters. Alador has a secret, too. He's completely convinced that he's nothing more than an awkward, unworthy tag-along to the charismatic, handsome Darius. He's sure Darius only tolerates him out of pity. Two best friends. One massive miscommunication. And a library hideout that's suddenly feeling way too small. Will they finally read between the lines, or are they destined to remain oblivious? ~~~~~~~~~~~~~ So this will be fluff because theyre teenagers but I might try writing smutt later on? idk but there is going to be an ass ton of fluff because I love gay fluff. Alador Blight and Darius Demonne have felt the rising tension between them ever since Alador's invention of a sigil-removing device that Darius helped him create. What happens when this tension becomes extremely evident at the last party to be held in the Blight Manor? With the success of the process to remove the coven sigils and unlock magic, Alador Blight (inventor/hack) and Darius Deammone (ex-coven head/drama queen) have to make their own decision as to whether or not to keep the brands on their wrist. In the process, they also have to make another decision...do they keep up the feud or do they admit that they might not just tolerate each other, but might actually /like/ each other?
