Just a small town country girl from Lockhart, Alabama who owns a flower shop called Dixie's Daisy's. Back in 2017 Dixie runs into Alex Roe while he's studying small town life for his new movie Forever My Girl. What happens when Mr. good head on his shoulders and Dixie sleep together and Alex leaves. Dixie later finds out something that changes everything. They still talk but how can she keep this from famous Alex. After filming the movie he come comes looking for her after he sees a post on Instagram that shocks him.

Jasper has his own views that affect Eliza more than she thought. Jasper hates slavery--and boy does Eliza's plantation, and even his own daddy's plantation have a lot of slaves. Slowly, Eliza falls for the mysterious Jasper. But she's been promised to Everett. But the night Jasper comes a callin' on Eliza, he proposes something; let's run away and take as many slaves as possible with us, to the North. It's tempting and Eliza accepts. But some slaves are afraid of getting lashed and just what happens when a slave tells Everett of their midnight dally?
