monday, june fifth, twenty-seventeen-- the last day of school for seniors, was simply an unforgettable day for many. for most of the graduating class, they wouldn't forget it because it was the last day of high school, the end of an era filled with memories of inside jokes, bullying, and endless amounts of homework. for seniors evan hansen, jared kleinman, alana beck, and the murphy twins-- connor and zoe, that was the original reason. however, four people's lives burst into color that day, while another's was submerged into ice-cold sadness. -lowercase intended!!! -treebros bc duh

"I think I broke my arm." I stutter out, cradling my left arm. "Oh my god, what happened out there?" The man asks, calling an ambulance. "I fell from a very tall tree." And that's how my lie began. She only has one year left to go through, and Day One seems to drag on for forever. Life as she knows it seems to flop around when she crashes into Alana Beck, figuratively and literally. And realizing that, she decides to make a website, with the help of her brother, Connor Murphy, and her family friend, Jared Kleinman. They call it: You Will Be Found, a fitting name if not for the day Y/n had lost herself in Ellison Park. Once she makes a speech, with much reluctance of course, the whole world finds out about the once invisible Y/n Murphy. She finds that she isn't invisible anymore, but almost famous, in a way she doesn't understand. She never knew such a thing could happen from talking to Alana Beck, the school 'freak.' Then again, she never knew she could become so.. popular. But then when Alana kills herself, Y/n panics. Alana's parents think Alana and her were besties. They don't know that Y/n and her had fought the day before Alana's death. Her whole life revolves around a singular lie: that Alana wrote the suicide note.
