This is an unfinished work, originally written by my middle school self, slowly being revamped and re-written by current me. Y/N Murphy thinks she has things all figured out, and it's as simple as this: Everything sucks. School sucks, people suck, her family sucks. And the only person she can rely on is her brother, Connor. But when he takes his own life, hers crumbles around her, and suddenly nothing makes sense anymore. Now she's stuck with unanswered questions about who her brother was, and who she thinks she is. And with Evan Hansen in the picture, things get even messier. She's not supposed to like him. She knows he's doing something unspeakably wrong. And yet at night when she dreams, she dreams of him.

She hasn't touched a sketchbook in years. She used to constantly draw in that sketchbook of hers. Offered scholarships to art colleges at age 15. Her whole life was planned out. Until the accident in which her only friend Connor Murphy, and herself ended her plans.

It was standard procedure by now, just the way the world works. Everyone had a soulmate represented by a flower. Just one soulmate. That is unless you're Jared Kleinman, Evan Hansen, or Connor Murphy. Two soulmates each, they can't help but wonder how the hell the three boys with their rocky relationship are supposed to fall in love. Destiny says they need to figure it out, and preferably before their flowers start wilting and they end up without a soulmate for the rest of their lives.

"I think I broke my arm." I stutter out, cradling my left arm. "Oh my god, what happened out there?" The man asks, calling an ambulance. "I fell from a very tall tree." And that's how my lie began. All credit of this AU goes to VioletArks Y/n Murphy is content with staying invisible. She just wants to survive high school, with or without people beside her. She only has one year left to go through, and Day One seems to drag on for forever. Life as she knows it seems to flop around when she crashes into Alana Beck, figuratively and literally. Because of Alana, she meets Evan, and because of Evan, she realizes that there is hope. For her, and for everyone. When with Evan, she realizes that she wanted to disappear one time in her life. And realizing that, she decides to make a website, with the help of her brother, Connor Murphy, and her family friend, Jared Kleinman. They call it: You Will Be Found, a fitting name if not for the day Y/n had lost herself in Ellison Park. Once she makes a speech, with much reluctance of course, the whole world finds out about the once invisible Y/n Murphy. She finds that she isn't invisible anymore, but almost famous, in a way she doesn't understand. She never knew such a thing could happen from talking to Alana Beck, the school 'freak.' Then again, she never knew she could become so.. popular. But then when Alana kills herself, Y/n panics. Alana's parents think Alana and her were besties. They don't know that Y/n and her had fought the day before Alana's death. Her whole life revolves around a singular lie: that Alana wrote the suicide note.
