Living on the streets of Manhattan are by no means easy. A lot of nights are spent behind dumpsters shivering because anywhere in plain sight could get you thrown in the refuge. Takes place two years before the canon events. 14 year old Kristin is tired of his sister's nagging, and the constant worry of being caught in the crime. In an impulsive move, he chose to join the Newsies and sell papers. I have recently been brought down to the newsies fandom. The newsies fandom is like a cult. Might I say, a cult I enjoy being in.
