The story of Ulysses Smith, a 12 year old boy from London. When World War 2 started he evacuated London together with other thousands of children from the city, trying to escape Hitler's wrath. He was born with Albinism, and he had to adapt to a world where his condition is still unkown to many, though some consider people with Albinism to be either a curiosity or freaks of nature, he tries to convince them that he's completely normal, and that his hair colour shouldn't change the way people think about him. He tries to convince himself that his hair colour shouldn't change the way people think about him or the way he thinks about him. He battles with his grief of his mother, and his American dad does his best raising him, he himself missing the love of his life.

There lives a myth of a girl capable of controlling ice and the snowy weather living deep in the forestry of the frozen continent, "Ana" --who roams the cold forest-- is unaware of these rumours. She goes around "cleansing" the land from government-funded experiments until she met a boy who asked of her origins. When she replied with uncertainty, the boy offered to take her on an adventure to help her uncover the past. (currently rewriting, expect it to be posted at around the end of october if not then be patient because school's probably killing my motivation)
