This was a Short Story I was writing recently, and had hoped to send it for publication. It is an alternate 'take' on the myths surrounding Arthur, Merlin and Excalibur; a bit more 'Game of Thrones' if you will... In the end, I missed the deadline, and went horribly over budget with the wordcount. I slashed it down, and tried to tighten things up as it was overcomplicated and sickeningly adorned with flowery-prose. I really would just like some thoughts and advice, please... I'm aware, especially as a few weeks have elapsed since I wrote it, of it's short-comings.
