During The Battle Of Stalingrad On The Eastern Front On September 17th, 1942 Soviet Private Dimitri Patrenko. Is In A Blood Stained, Blood Filled, And Body Filled Fountain, Just As Invading German Troops Exacute His Comrade's. When They Leave Dimitri Meets Injured Sharpshooter Sargent Viktor Reznov. Who Tells Him Of His Mission To Kill German General Henrich Amsel. Who Is Responsible For Numerous Massacres And War Crimes Across The Soviet Union. After Killing German Soilders Along The Way And Dulling A Enemy Sniper. Dimitri Follows Reznov Through Buildings And Street's And They Meet Up With The Remainder Of Dimitri's Unit. Dimitri Manages To Kill The Coward Amsel As He Flees However German Armour Begin Shooting At Them. As They Run Through The Collapsing And Burning Building With German Soilders Attacking Them. Then They Reach A Busted Out Widow And Jump Through Into The Canal Channel Below.
