She meets Ally who, like her, has a shady past that he doesn't want to share. However, because of his mission he must get the "tough" Alex to open up to him and show her weakness. The Center sent him on this mission. They want Alex to be used as the "Killing machine" she once was. She is drawn to him as he is drawn to her,no matter how dense their feelings are.
