Her never talking or interacting with other students came to the curiosity of the badboy Jace Greeman, he wanted to know what Kimberly was hiding behind her hazelnut eyes. He tried flirting with her but she walked away, surprised that he's charms didn't work on her he became more curious to know Kimberly so he became friends with her, of course she refused but he wouldn't leave her alone. Trying to get a few details from someone can lead to you wanting to know more and that's what happened with Jace, he wanted to know more but was he ready for the truth she was hiding.
