Disclaimer: This is neither a fanfic nor an official book to Jeanne Birdsall's Penderwicks series. This is also not an annotated edition because I don't copy the text of the book. Thus, it's a companion and commentary on The Penderwicks series, especially "The Penderwicks at last". I will discuss literary references, like to Little Women and Emily of New Moon, will explain why everyone ended up on this way, with discussing especially Batty and Jeffrey, and Skye and Jeffrey. Did you get all Easter eggs? In her last book, there are plenty references to the earlier books, literature and music.... The picture is maid with Azalea Dolls Fairy Tale scene maker, and of course related to the characters, but rather inspired, because it's supposed to my own interpretation/imagination, ad everyone might interpret it differently.

Howard was quietly resting his eyes, listening to his colleagues as they chatted around him, when he heard a question being directed towards him. Jane Alcott was raised on a farm and is more at home milking cows and birthing foals then she is dancing with London's most eligible bachelors. She had her first season when she was nineteen and was humiliated with her clumsiness and crassness. Now at twenty - three her mother has decided that it is time for her to be married so she sends her to have another season, staying with her brother, the Earl of Ethridge and his wife, Emilia. While Jane doesn't plan on making any connections, little does she know that she's attracted the brooding Daniel Winchester, a man with secrets and a painful past. A man who swore he would never love again.

What if Little Women takes place in the year 2020? Read this alternate version of a beloved classic - with a twist! Little Women is my favorite classic and this updated version is a story on its own, yet, meant to be faithful to the original. Meet the four May sisters, Rosalinde, Johanna, Lisa and Emmy! The story takes place in Germany (as I'm from Germany). I want to wrote also a German edition, but I publish it in English because Little Women is mostly famous in English-speaking countries (and writing in English is so much fun!). Please comment so I know whether I can keep writing this story because I have also different projects!

These Little Women letters may be fiction, but let's pretend all did happen and the March sisters changed a bit of history with them! Whether in France, Germany, Russia or the States, let's get a glimpse into the exciting time period! The grown up sisters will have a very special connection to one of the greatest composers and help him to shape his fate - Peter Tchaikovsky. Whether you love Alcott's Little Women or the Swan Lake ballet - enjoy this extraordinary historical letter novel! I did research on Swan Lake and Tchaikovsky for at least three years and now I decided to put it together. Findiny my opinion , I want to lock up the secrets of the wold's most famous ballet with the help of my favorite sisters of all time! The picture of my cover includes one of my many attempts with the princess maker and it's portraying Odette, the White Swan, and Odile, the Black swan. If you want to know why I chose the characters on this way, you'll have to read (:

After reading "Jo and Laurie" by Stohl and De La Cruz, I was unsatisfied. In this tale, I have taken some elements of their plotline and made it my own. This is how I would have wanted the re-telling to look like, a lot more relationship building, character building, and reality. I intend to give Jo and Laurie the "Hollywood ending" we all dream of, while still making the story feel real.
