Fifty years after Alec's death, Magnus finds a box stashed in his closet with a note saying it's for him. He opens it up to see what's inside and is brought to tears by what he finds. _________________________________________________________________________________ Magnus stared down at the dark box that sat in his lap, almost afraid of what it contained. He had found it buried deep in the back of his closet. On the top read a printed note that said To Magnus. He cautiously lifted the lid and pulled out one out of many pieces of papers. Unfolding the letter, he pulled his legs up to him and wrapped one arm around them. He immediately recognized the messy, scrawly handwriting of Alec. He blinked back tears. Magnus, If you're reading this I'm probably dead, the black ink read. I don't know how old I'll be when I die (though it will most likely be soon) but I'm almost nineteen now. I'm writing this because, when I do die, I don't want you to forget me. Please don't forget me. I know you'll probably date many more people, and have many more lovers after me, and that's okay- I'm grateful for however long it is we get to spend together now. But please don't forget me. You might be reading this a day after I die, a year after I die, five years, ten years, twenty years after I die. But I want you to know that whatever happened, I didn't- I don't- want to leave you. I don't ever want to leave you.

Or: The fic in which Magnus and Alec are so clueless it hurts, Isabelle is the best and Camille is still a b*tch. He's hiding his sexuality from his family. He's hiding his anxiety from his boyfriend. Altogether he's just tired of hiding. What happens when Magnus introduces him to a mundane game called Truth or Dare on a rather romantic date together. What would happen if the only way to save Magnus was to do something he really was avoiding. Also lots of fluff, no serious smut though. *Completed* Alec Lightwood was your average guy. Straight A student, athletic, but had an attitude at times. Although he'd rather stay quiet than be social, like people said he was. He was a listener, but somehow he was a true leader. Magnus Bane, a very feminine bisexual. Very confident, outgoing, fashionable. He did well in school, not the brightest but not the dumbest. Just what he liked. He was very chatty and said whatever he wanted, whenever he wanted. That's when Alec and Magnus first talked, senior year when Alec was tired of trying to see if he really like Jace and he was tired of being scared of being gay. They both hope this is a real relationship, and not a test.

Jace and Clary are in it again but this time the threat is not form one of there blood lines.

This book follows on from the City of Lost Souls and therefore contains huge spoilers for the series. Proceed with caution if you haven't finished the series so far. Also, due to the fact this story focuses primarily on Alec, some details from the Lost Souls have been altered to make this story better.
