Alina has embraced her inner darkness just as Aleksander has decided he can let go of his control over some things. It turns out that sometimes the Sun Summoner needs to enact punishment against people too. Basically, Alina and Aleksander spend time dealing with arsonists with all the irony of Alina being one.

Events happen after the end of King of Scars and will mainly focus on Alina and the Darkling. Spoilers ahead. Rule of Wolves might be spoiled if I decide to go around the book (not yet read) or completely ignore the events that are happening there. This fanfic will explore their bond more.
