General Kirigan was intrigued, to say the least. Anya Petrova was an enigma that he desperately wanted to solve. She was always so bubbly and bright, he was surprised she wasn't a Sun Summoner. She seemed to bring happiness to everyone around her with her ever-changing hair color and witty comments. She was a Tailor brought to the Little Palace at the same time as Genya Safin and they instantly clung like glue to each other. But the thing Aleksander was worried about was what he felt when he was near her. He felt light and heavy at the same time. He didn't really know if he liked it or not. This is an AU where the Fold does not exist. Kirigan did not use merzost and he's not immortal. There's not much drama in this story, mainly just a little bit of angst and fluff. Genya never got gifted to the queen but she still does have to do stuff for her.

There is no place for us. I have learned that a while ago. Not here at least, not now and not surrounded by these people. Ignorance is bliss. While that may be true when concerning yourself, to have an ignorant nation is to have no nation at all. That is why I have never stayed still. Like a river always flowing, carving my way into the ground that has given birth to me. The same one that refuses to take me no matter how much I plead it to. The people here have always been small. They are not who this story will concern. The cosmos. The wide and indescribably vast nothingness. And this is my story, one that will be washed away by the river's flow. Darklina Fanfic: The war has ended, The fold is gone. Alina moved on with her life, she moved into a cottage with Mal. She had wanted a peaceful life. Events are happening after season 2 (includes some scenes from 8 episode). I like an idea of dark Alina or morally grey. This story is about how I would like to see further events. How Alina will walk the Darkling's path, and understand all his words. How she will accept herself, and her love to him. P.S. If you read my story "The light behind the darkness", you may know how much I love Darklina. And after his disappointing death in the series, I have an inspiration to write new one about them.
