Sometimes you just can't help who you fall in love with. People always tell you your last year of secondary school will be the best yet; people always tell you your last year of secondary school will be the hardest; people always tell you how to cope with the stress of exams, friendships and studying, but, no-one ever tells you how to cope when your hot, new PE teacher, you have a major crush on, seems to feel the same way about you. Lucinda (Lucy) Adams is 18 and "excited" to be starting her last year with her best friends, Kayla and Will, at Hillcombe High. After meeting her new form tutor, who also happens to be her A-Level PE teacher, and tripping over on her first day; literally falling into his arms, Lucy quickly feels herself falling for him. When he appears to reciprocate her feelings, will Lucy be able to keep her crush under control or will she give into it, having to juggle a secret relationship on top of all the other problems secondary school throws at her?

A short fictional travelogue inspired by my time in Whitby. It discusses the Gothic side of Whitby including Whitby Goth Festival, and Whitby's links with Bram Stokers' Dracula. It tackles issues that people of Gothic and alternative subcultures endure- including myself. I visited Whitby a few years ago- this travelogue is inspired by my time there, but it is mostly fictionalised. Enjoy :)

Twenty years ago, a deadly disease spread across the earth and almost all of the population were wiped out. Those who survived continue to fight for all that remains in a deadly game of survival of the fittest. The story centers around the life of Tobias Bowden. Tobias is a man riddled with guilt and regret, choosing to spend the last ten years of his life completely alone than face his actions. That is until Tobias is approached by Lucinda, a naive girl with dreams of peace and happiness, begging for his help to fight a vicious man who threatens her people. Tobias soon finds himself thrown back into a life he tried to forget and thinking of people he'd much rather were dead and gone than forcing themselves back into his life and heart. A battle is beginning and Tobias finds himself asking the worst possible question he ever could; Could you kill a monster that wore the face of the person you love most in this world?

Satirical blog article about vegetarianism/plant-based diets, inspired by the blog articles of Charlie Brooker ❗️DISCLAIMER (please read)❗️- whilst I am a vegetarian, and urge people to consider cutting down on meat, this article is meant for entertainment purposes. It is satire, so please do not take offense. As I took inspiration from the blog articles of Charlie Brooker, I have mirrored his use of satire, irony and humour. It is based off of truth, but should be taken lightly. However, I do strongly encourage you to research further into going vegetarian and the meat industry.
