Alexander William Gaskarth was pronounced dead on December 20th at 4:30am despite nearly ten hours of medical attention and four different emergency surgeries. ~~~ I automatically turn around, my heart about to jump out of my chest. Instead of silence I can hear the speeding sound of my heartbeat. Tears have never flowed so fast I think my eyes are broken. I'm obviously seeing things.

Alex Gaskarth, son of a meth head father and alcoholic mother, had suffered a lot in his fourteen years growing up in the UK. Thrown into foster home after foster home, he was considered relatively 'normal' by fellow caretakers. Never one to trust people, Alex kept to himself. That is, until four days after his fifteenth birthday. On December 18th, on a surprisingly warm Tuesday evening, Alex's world got turned upside down, namely by someone who he wanted nothing to do with - at first. Jack Barakat was his name; helping underprivileged kids was his game. On a trip with his church, Jack was introduced to Alex, instantly feeling a friendly connection with the boy, and simply, nothing more. Alex, though, felt resentment, though he still felt open. He considered himself different from the other kids in his group home, since they hadn't needed/wanted a 'big brother.' But, Alex would soon change his mind, and he would come to rely on Jack, not only as a big brother, but as someone he trusted, which didn't happen easily. As their friendship progressed, Alex and Jack grew closer, almost becoming inseparable by the time Jack's church trip was over. The day he left, Alex had felt heartbreak for the first time in his life, and he prayed he never had to feel the same feeling again. He distanced himself from everyone again, like he had been doing for fifteen years before. Jack wrote to him, but Alex never replied. He believed that Jack had betrayed him, just like his own family. But, would Jack be able to change Alex's mind if they were to meet again?

What will happen when Alex, a shy, quite 15yr old from England who suffers from depression and anxiety is forced to start going to a public school, after being home schooled since moving to Balitmore when he was 7? Will he settle in? Will Alex finally be able to smile again? Or will he fall victim to the cruel world of high school? Only time will tell...

So, I start writing books, get about 4-5 chapters in and then get distracted. Instead of leaving them to die, here you go.

A group of young trouble makers get arrested every other day, and it's nothing new for them when the police are on their tail. There's something different this time, though. Now, they have to try and behave themselves as best they can because they joined a nationwide tour with one of their favorite bands, All Time Low. For the time being, they keep their secret lives as known criminals away from their idols, but they say that everything catches up with you in the end.

Jack is madly in love with his bestfriend. But with little miss Lisa in the way will this end up like a happy fairytale ending or a horrid gorry murder scene?

Bandmates Jack Barakat and Alex Gaskarth have obvious chemistry, often given the title Jalex. But there have always been obstacles in the way of their relationship, for example, Alex's on-off girlfriend Lisa. Pushed by an argument, Alex decides to tie the knot with Lisa, but is he making the right decision? Even more, does he love her more than Jack?

A box of pictures that shouldn't have collected so much dust sparks some memories for Alex that take him back to a different time. Alex has severe OCD and schizophrenia. He soon meets Jack at school, who teaches him it's okay to be mentally ill. Will Jack's love replace Alex's voices?

There, he befriends Alex Gaskarth, a quiet-yet-interesting boy his age. They become fast friends, but their story could end just as quickly. Trigger warning: self-harm, suicidal and depressive themes. There aren't specific warnings on every chapter as that would ruin the flow of the story, so read at your own discretion.

Alex and Jack met when they were 7 and have been inseparable since. But when does a relationship change from 'just friends' to something more? When all you want to do is kiss someone when you're around them? When you want to be around them all the time? When you'd be perfectly happy spending the rest of your life with them? When they're all you need? ***Warnings: there will be mentions of suicide and Alex dealing with his anxiety. Probably no smut because It makes me extremely uncomfortable to write but I'm open to the idea.***
