At first Alex hates John because he assumes John is just like his father but eventually they become friends - and maybe (Alex hopes) more. basically just your average college AU

Honestly, this was just a private fanfic that I made for fun during my Social Studies class. "More!" was kind of a rough draft for this fanfic, but I posted that one because it was too funny and I wanted to share it. These two stories are way different now and don't even seem that similar anymore, originally this was going to have more detailed scenes for those freaky moments [yes, those were also going to happen in chapter two </3], but I have completely scrapped those moments now, well at least for now I have.

Alexander Hamilton's dreams are finally coming true. He was just accepted into Harvard University, a school that was known for building some of the best lawyers and politicians in the nation. He has a great group of friends, very high intelligence, and is a top-notch writer. Alexander's life seems happy and full, no room for romance-until he meets his quiet, intelligible, turtle-loving roommate.

Alexander Hamilton was bored of his life. His girlfriend left him, his best friends moved away, and college was boring. He needed something new. Something adventurous. So he called a hitman on himself. Little did he know, he would fall in love with the person who tried to brutally murder him behind Starbucks.

Book two, a sequel to HAMILTON, An American FanFiction (Lams). Alexander Hamilton (Harrison) has been elected the 46th President of the United States of America and now he must deal with all of the hardships that him, John, Lin, and the rest of the crew throughout his first term as president. He knew his father's so-called ways of 'affection'. He new about the respect and admiration his young and naive siblings felt for him. But John Laurens had never felt such a powerful and dangerous love for the one everyone around him would so often describe. He does, though, know money. And when he falls in love with the cute boy who works at the coffee shop uptown, he has absolutely no goddamn clue what to do. So he decided to use all of that money.

Laurens is arranging an engagement so he can propose to Hamilton. The secrecy combined with Hamilton's paranoia leads into thinking that Laurens is cheating on him. Essentially evolving into a fight and a, later on, break up. Their reunion is prompted by their friends filling in the gaps for Hamilton. (Artwork, does not belong to me, credit to the artist. (Hamilton AU where soul mates can hear each others thoughts.) John thought that possibly, despite all the incessant two a.m. ramblings and winning inner arguments, his soulmate couldn't possibly be that bad. Sure, he seemed aggressive and outgoing, much more so than John, but was that really a drawback? All his life, the world around him, even his own worthless bag of tits of a father, had treated him as if he were nothing, a piece of scum. He never really knew if it was all true. But the voice in his head, the one he could always hear but never reply to, marveled about how great a person he must be. Praised him, even. It was new.

Laurens is dead. There was no denying that. Alex had even been there to see him die in his hospital room. So yes, Laurens was as dead as a door-nail. BUT when a strange man is seen walking in the woods Alex gets a ray of hope. Will that be his Laurens or will it be someone else and if it is Laurens will Alex get to him in time to see him alive or see him dead?
