Esmeralda (Esme) Fray is the adopted sister of Clarissa (Clary) Fray. She was found on the streets as a baby by an 8 year old Clary. Her father was killed by The Circle when her mother was 5 months pregnant. Her mother passed during childbirth. Her aunt took her in then dumped her on the streets after discovering she was blind.

This is a Malec AU based on a video I watched, (See start of first chapter) where Alec marries Lydia instead of leaving her at the alter for Magnus. Alec secretly regrets his marriage and ends up venting to Magnus.

In that moment Magnus realized what kind of a person he really was and he realized just how terrible all the things he said and did really were. He realized that he had broken this already broken boy, he realized what was in that small box and he reached out to catch Alec as he fell.

Alec has entered a dark time in his life, Magnus realizes. His little brother Max was recently murdered by Sebastian, the boy finally noticed that his parents were growing apart in their marriage, his sister Izzy was depressed and blamed herself for everything, and the annoying blond Jace was so…calm. He didn't jump at the chance to go on a hunt, he didn't laugh and smile and say his snarky (and incredibly annoying) comebacks like he always did. All of these changes in Alec's family caused him to doubt everything, and trust almost nothing. Magnus was worried about his little Shadowhunter, who'd been through so much already. He wanted to do something for his boyfriend, something to tell him that everything would be okay, that he was there for him, that he could always trust him, no matter what.

The Shadowhunters had gotten word that there was a demon roaming free in the outskirts of New York, down in the woods. The Lightwoods, Clary, and Magnus must do their sworn duty to protect the people. As Alec fights bravely, he doesn't see the poisoned spikes coming towards him. What he does see is Magnus take it for him. (Like said at the top this is a oneshot)

When one of Magnus's spell goes haywire, Jace, Simon, Alec, and Magnus, get sent into a different world...The Iron Realm. The Iron Realm is ruled by queen Meghan and her husband Ash. This world isn't like anything these fellow ShadowHunter's are used to. No, instead of demons, they are met with some nasty little gremlins, a trickery summer fey that loves to pull tricks, and a... talking cat? Will Magnus be able to get everyone home safety, or will they be stuck in the land of the fey, forever?
