The ending of the original story by Alexandra Bracken is horribly depressing so I decided to give it a much more hopeful ending. Fortunately, the next part of the story is out now and it offers a whole lot more closure so this alternate ending is no longer necessary but it's still a better alternative than the real tearful ending! As I have become obsessed(more like re-obssesed) with this series and had a lot of idea's for one shots I could write about The Darkest Minds by Alexandra Bracken. I've already written two in my other book/another miscellaneous work of mostly crap so I'll include them here as well.
