In the depths of the Pacific Ocean, where sunlight barely penetrates and shadows dance like phantoms, there resides a creature unlike any that has ever been recorded. Alex Carter, a seasoned oceanographer, and his dedicated team are on a mission to unravel the mysteries of these dark waters. Though they approach their work with a scientific mindset, a flicker of curiosity ignites within Alex-a nagging desire to discover what truly lies beneath the surface. Having plunged into the abyss twice already, he feels an inexplicable pull toward the unknown. The second descent was unlike anything he had experienced before. As he navigated through the eerie silence, illuminated only by the beam of his submersible's lights, he stumbled upon the remnants of a rusted ship, its hull encrusted with barnacles and time. It was a vessel swallowed by the ocean's depths, and within its decaying embrace lay a journal inside a wooden box, its pages yellowed and fragile. The entries spoke of a person who had vanished without a trace, leaving behind only whispers of terror and the unknown. The ocean had a way of hiding its secrets, and he was determined to uncover them.

Alex Carter was a forensic prodigy-destined for a life of logic and order. But the Game of Shadows doesn't follow rules. Now, caught in a deadly maze of secrets, lies, and betrayal, survival means outsmarting killers and questioning everything - including himself. Trust no one. Kill if you must. And remember: in this game, shadows aren't just behind you. They're everywhere. ________________________________________________________________ Leaked recording. Timestamp corrupted. DO NOT DISTRIBUTE. [Crackling static. A voice - mocking, tired, like someone who's seen too much and slept too little.] "This is your warning. Your only one." "My name's Alex Carter. Maybe you've heard of me - the boy genius with the pocket watch and perfect crime scene reconstructions. Cute, right? Except... that version of me? Dead." "You want the truth? Fine. I joined the Game thinking I could outsmart it. I mapped blood patterns, traced trajectories, made it all make sense. But nothing about this place is logical. Nothing about survival is clean. People vanish. People scream. People beg. And the worst part? Sometimes they laugh while doing it." "Soren's a walking nightmare with a smile sharp enough to slit throats. Athena? She's chaos wrapped in silk - a storm you never see coming. And I was stupid enough to think I could read her." "I don't even know who I am anymore. The prodigy? The killer? The player who rigged the board - or just another piece getting dragged?" [*Ticking. Distant footsteps. Then - silence. The kind that breathes.*] "If you found this... run. Or don't. Either way, the shadows are coming." [**Click. Transmission ends.**] Welcome to the Game of Shadows - where trust is a lie, and killing is the only way to survive.
