This is a June and Nora fan fiction but Henry and Alex will be in it to because they are together a lot. There will be 2 chapters max where they aren't dating and it's being set up but I'm as eager to write it as you are to read it so it will get sapphic fast. This is for you if you read Red, White & Royal Blue and loved--and IDENTIFIED--with Henry, that brilliant, nerdy rich guy who loves Jane Austen and knows about Alexander Hamilton. What a combination. Henry's longings and lush, literary emails were some of my favorite parts of Red, White & Royal Blue. We need more of them--and more Henry. Until a certain Mx. Casey McQuiston decides to create them, we'll have to make do with my interpretation. What was Henry's inner world like after he first encountered a certain luscious-lashed American political son? And how was the run-up of their love story? HISTORIAN'S NOTE: The essence of primary sources is that one can never be sure that one has identified all of them. But as far as we know, these constitute a relatively exhaustive trove of correspondence and contemporaneous notes from Prince Henry. Our focus is on what led up to their courtship and eventual public coupledom. For ethical reasons, I have excluded the emails between Alex and Henry that were hacked and leaked in 2020. Because of the manner in which they came to light, many still believe we cannot (yet) in good conscience consume them, even as part of the historical record. Indeed, historians such as R.M. Waterloo Letters are one of the most important historical events of the 20s of the 2000s, it changed the world's perspective about the LGBTQ community and built a base for gender and sexuality equality all over the world. This book tells the stories of a few people from all over the world who were affected by the story themselves, queer teens or just allies who got the opportunity to help and support and took it because of it. --- Basically the trailer to RWRB came out Thursday and on Wednesday I spent the whole night rereading the book. This whole week I was (and still) so invested in the new movie and it brought back my love for this book as well as it inspired me to write this collection of short stories of people who were affected by this amazing event which I wish happened in our world as well. I do not own the concept of Waterloo Letters or any character from RWRB mentioned here, all belong to Casey McQuiston and others who own rights on the book, most certainly not to me. Hope someone would like this idea, I know it's not a regular fanfic and the last time I tried this concept (with Harry Potter and a story about a couple that were in Hogwarts at the time) it failed miserably. But still with the hype and everything, I think, maybe, even only a few people could enjoy this-at least I hope so.
