That was the last thing Alexei's sister said to him, before they walked into the dim cellar that fateful night. What was behind the tragic demise of the last Russian prince, the Tsarevich Alexei Romanov? How did the demise of his family happen at the hands of the USSR? Take a closer look at the horrors that took place in the cellar with this new story that experiences things from Alexei's perspective. May the Romanovs rest in peace.

The Romanov family went to visit Romania in 1910. Alexei and Ileana met, and soon fell in love. Alexei promised to return and marry her. But four years later horror struck Europe, World War I. Throughout the war Alexei and Ileana's love burned strong and pure, but soon they would be torn apart forever. Alexei's father was over thrown and the family was exiled to Siberia, then murdered in Ekaterinburg. Rumors circulated that Alexei and Anastasia had somehow managed to escape. Ileana had faith that her love would return and waited for twenty years until she was finally forced to marry Archduke Anton of Austria. This ended in divorce as did the two following marriages. Princess Ileana eventually realized that she would never be happy without her true love and devoted the rest of her life to the only solace she had, God. She became a nun and founded the first Romanian Orthodox nunnery in America. She died after a long life of suffering. Now she is known as Blessed Mother Alexandra and he is a canonized saint, passion-bearer, and martyr. But what if things had been just the slightest bit different?

Liesel is the youngest daughter of a nonpowerful King and Queen in Prussia. At the age of 13 she is sent to Russia to live with the Romanovs. Next year when she is 14 she is to be married to Czarevich Alexei Nicholaevna Romanov, the heir to the Russian throne. While there they become extremely close. But what happens when the Russian Revolution breaks out? What happens when a mysterious monk comes to try to cure Alexei's disease of hemophilia? What happens when the Romanov family is supposed to die? Will their story turn out the same as history says? Disclaimer: This is in honor of the Romanov family in which were killed by Vladimir Lenin's men. This event in history is extremely horrifying and sad. I do not mean to offend anyone. This is based off of a thought I had while studying Alexei Romanov. The thought was what if the Romanov family survived. This may not be completely historically accurate. Enjoy.

The Romanov Family was tragically executed in a room, nobody knowing of their cruel fate until it was too late to save them. All of them, The Tsar Nicholas II and his dear wife, Alexandra alongside their precious daughter's and son dying with no hope that that they'd survive to see the sun again. Well not all of them, their only heir Alexei had survived against all exceptions due to his blood disease, had found him all alone in a world he had to hide from until he got somewhere safe. Later in 1928, he married a woman of a wealthy family while hiding under a false family as well as name, later telling her when he knew it was safe enough. Now in the present era, their descendants live in Mystic Falls unaware of the dangers that lurk within the town soon find themselves in an adventure of life and romance after a boy named Stefan Salvatore moves into town.

Instead of altering his abdication in favor of his younger brother. Tsar Nicholas II is pressured to instead pass the throne to his underage hemophiliac son Alexei. With Russia in the midst of a revolution during the brutal onslaught of war against Germany and Austria. The new provisional government must work with the new Tsar and his regent to heal the fractured empire before more damage is done. With their popularity damaged nearly to the point beyond repair, the senior members of the House of Romanov must begin to embrace political reforms in order to survive the turbulence that is surely to come.
