My name is Cairo King, and I'm a single mom. My ten year old daughter, Astrid, and my six month old daughter Lacie are the most important things to me. Astrid loves soccer and strangely school, and Lacie loves my keys. Everything's hard, juggling your kids lives and your own. But what happens one day when you take your daughter to a professional soccer game, and end up getting her favorite players number? You become a bad mom.

3 years have passed since that December 31, 2014 where Alex Morgan and Servando Carrasco said the fateful yes to life. Kelley O'Hara, Alex's national teammate, lesbian and heartbrointed for a few months, after the umpteenth disappointment of love and the break with his ex Anne, realizes that she is attracted to Alex, and feels something more than just a friendship towards him. She would like to say everything to Alex, who in the meantime does not understand what that strange feeling in her stomach is, every time Kelley makes her smile, there is in moments of sadness or rejoices for a goal next to her. After all these years next to her husband, the striker wonders if she was right to marry him. Will Alex and Kelley be able to declare themselves or is their story destined to end even before it begins?

After the 2019 World Cup, Abbi Grant and Claire Emslie soon realise they are meant to be more than friends, they soon bite the bullet and get married. However, shortly after the birth of their identical twin daughters, Annie and Katie (Kat), they get divorced and each has sole custody of one girl. Abbi raises Kat in Springburn, Glasgow and Claire raises Annie in New York City. 14 years and nine months later, in the summer of 2032, the two girls are coincidentally called up to a Scotland U15 performance camp based in Edinburgh. Kim Little and Rachel Corsie, who are the coaches for the camp try and keep the girls from finding out the truth (a request from both of their mothers) but when the girls work it out for themselves, they decide to switch places to see how the other half lives, literally. Will they be able to reunite their parents? Or will the custody battle reignite itself and tear all of their worlds apart?

Victoria Swift is your average 16, almost 17 year old girl. Except not really. Victoria has become used to being pushed aside when people find out that she is mute. The only time that she feels normal is when she's on the pitch. She loves playing both midfielder and striker, but doesn't think much will come of it, until she gets called into one of the few mini-camps that the United States National Teams have put on to scout, inviting standouts from schools across the Country. Victoria starts to notice a change there. People start to actually accept her. Maybe she won't be alone forever after all. Maybe just maybe this will be the miracle she's been looking for, maybe she'll finally get the family, and the love of her life that she has always wished for.
