When her two teenage sons attend summer camp, and her controlling husband Sam is set to go on a 'work' trip--which subconsciously she is convinced is non-existent, a 32 year old Norma Bates takes the chance to appease her wanderlust by embarking on a trip to the beautiful city of New York. When she meets the stoic yet unbelievably intriguing Alex Romero along the way, she finds herself building up a self-profile that is far from the real thing. How long will she be able to continue this charade of the single teacher that is Norma Bates before Alex sees through the act, and will he have the same feelings for the flawed, damaged, yet beautiful woman that hides beneath?

When Sheriff Romero meets Norma Bates he is filled with an immense irritation towards her as well as an overwhelming need to protect her. Will Romero break free from the force that is pulling them together? Or are they both doomed in the end?

The love (mostly physical if written) between Alex and Norma (without Norman in the way, thank god) (Aligning with Bates Motel the TV series, "What You Never Saw" is written as an attempt to fill in the gaps that were never captured on screen, smut included ;)) I am so sorry about the quality of this, creative writing has never been my strong suit...

Sequel to Time To Pretend (A Vestor Story). If you haven't read that...you should. Anyways, this is placed about a year after the finale of Season Five of Bates Motel. I do not own Bates Motel. If I did, it would NEVER END!!!

Norma Louise Bates and Alex Romero are married! Their life is pretty much like a movie and they're enjoying every second of it! In this story, Norma and Alex get to build ground on their relationship and discover where they stand as a couple.

Picks up after the Season 3 finale of Bates Motel. Norma and Alex's relationship continues to develop.

I had written this One-Shot on tumblr few days before the Season Finale. thought of posting it here :) So here it goes.. my imagination for Normero in season finale..This is my first write-up on Normero so please pardon me on typos.. do let me know what you thought about it! It's Christmas and sheriff Alex Romero is unsure what to get his new bride. Known for his stoic and unromantic nature, Alex turns to his longtime friend and deputy Ben Jeffcoat (the self proclaimed Love Doctor of White Pine Bay) for help in making this the most magical Christmas ever! Elizabeth Bates was known to be an angel. She was the sunshine that White Pine Bay was desperate for, and Ellie had taken pride in that. Whenever the main concern wasn't Norman, Ellie was loved. [ a bunch of one shots for my fanfic , with you by my side. You don't have to read that to understand this, but I recommend reading it! ]

Based from the events of 4x02 - after escorting Norman to Pineview, Alex has a strong urge to go back to check on Norma. So, once again, he is drawn back to the Bates house. With Norma now having to live alone and cope with the burden of her son being taken away from her, she finds unexpected comfort in the closed off stoic Sheriff that is Alex Romero. Based on the ending events of 4x09-- After a plan to try and get Norman Bates readmitted into Pineview has gone wrong, Alex has a strong urge to want to go and check on Norma through the night, going against the distance she wished to keep after she had said she was done. He comes back to the Bates house with something very unexpected. (Done by @carbonellromero on Twitter. )

Norma had it rough. She did what she had to do. Although she believed it was the best route, it didn't make it any easier. A rewrite of "The Music of Bates Motel," themed entirely towards Norma. Each chapter counts for an episode of Bates Motel and includes a Norma-related chapter. Therefore, a SPOILER WARNING goes for anyone who may not have finished the series.

This story picks up in season 4 episode 8, in this version Norma never dies. Her and Alex live happily together without Norman. Although they are together at last, this doesn't go without a few bumps in the road.

After realizing her wedding dress from her last marriage doesn't fit, Norma puts herself on a less than healthy diet. Normero friendly, set in season three.
