Normero One Shot - unfaithful alternative. I guess AU??

This story picks up in season 4 episode 8, in this version Norma never dies. Her and Alex live happily together without Norman. Although they are together at last, this doesn't go without a few bumps in the road.

Norma goes to a bar to drink her pain away, only to be surprised by a certain Sheriff.

When her two teenage sons attend summer camp, and her controlling husband Sam is set to go on a 'work' trip--which subconsciously she is convinced is non-existent, a 32 year old Norma Bates takes the chance to appease her wanderlust by embarking on a trip to the beautiful city of New York. When she meets the stoic yet unbelievably intriguing Alex Romero along the way, she finds herself building up a self-profile that is far from the real thing. How long will she be able to continue this charade of the single teacher that is Norma Bates before Alex sees through the act, and will he have the same feelings for the flawed, damaged, yet beautiful woman that hides beneath?

After marrying Alex and taking Norman to Pineview, Norma had been having a hard time coping with all that has happened. Through countless efforts of trying to get in touch with her son, Norma finally had the opportunity to talk with him, but instead told her that he could never forgive her for making him stay at Pineview and he no longer had feelings for her. When she got home, she ran into Alex, who she only married for insurance. Everything was bringing her down, but there was one thing, one person that was holding her up, Alex Romero.

I decided to put together a story about Vestor, one or favorite ships, right?! The first chapter will be a oneshot and maybe, if you guys like, I'll do a continuation of the first chapter or I'll keep writing oneshots.
