The first year is about to start at Alfea College for fairies. MacKenzie is an ordinary girl from earth who appears to be the princess of a planet called Aurora. A week before school started, Faragonda came to visit her. MacKenzie's father didn't die in a car crash, but he was murdered by witches. MacKenzie's mother lied to her.
