Algebra II. That's where I met him. I had seen him before, goofing off with his friends, the athletes. I sat behind him and over by one seat and watched him; how he moved, how he talked, and what he did when he was bored. Mr. James called me to the board and that's where I said something I shouldn't have. Was I really awake? Or was I meerly asleep. Then he brushed against me. Twice, in the same day. He called me on the phone... Did he really like me...?
