They wanted to try for normal so that maybe, one day, they could forget any of it ever happened. They wanted peace and safety. He couldn't go to either camp or the underworld without feeling like his chest would explode from the pain. He knew she was in a better place. Her and Frank were in Elysium with Jason, Piper, and the rest of the heroes that died in the wars. She was at peace.
