Inspired by: Alias Grace "what would you do if someone gave you the pandora's box?" I pretended to think, "i will bury it underground and never think of it ever again" i said smiling and jumping on the small bed. Wrong. I opened it and wreck havoc not only to myself but also to the world i once had. The world that i called purgatory. They say i didn't regret anything, I say i can't remember. ____________ DISCLAIMER!!! As this is my first book and is heavily inspired by alias grace's use of words, i would like to say that many scenes especially chapters 1-2 are extremely similar to alias grace's netflix episode 1. I used the scenes from the show as a guide and inspiration to write this book, in terms of dialogues and metaphors many scenes in alias grace will be quoted in this book. In terms of plot, as the title says it is completely different from the show i only used alias grace for their use of words and interesting scenes. I do not completely own this book by imagination.

Two years after her pardon, Grace Marks receives a letter from a Mrs. Jordan requesting her assistance at their home. Simon is ill and the last desperate hope is that Grace can help. But what can she do when he has lost every memory of her? Because of my timeline, in this story Grace only serves around 15 years total. Also a disclaimer that this is not very historically accurate and Im not rly going for realistic lol This starts years after the end of the netflix series because it broke my heart the way it concluded. I know there is some discourse on whether their relationship is romanticized obsession or real love but either way I like the passion that their "romance" has because to me it is a love story whether it fits the normal standard or not.
