this very shot story is in response to a contest. we have to make up an imaginary encounter between Quentin Coldwater and the Beast.

For the third time now, Quentin Coldwater and his friends have gone up against the Beast. But when they don't know what they've already tried, and Jane isn't willing to fill in any gaps, they have to work to find a way to defeat The Beast.

Faced with certain destruction Quentin Coldwater must make an impossible decision. With the help of his comrades he will battle The Beast, or die trying.

Curiosity kills the cat. Or rather, curiosity had kicked the cat out of it's home. Leaving Alice Quinn out of any realm she could deem favorable, and instead banished on an island as if she was Calypso.

What if after 1x10 Lizzie found a way to regain her memories without Jinni's knowledge? What if she found a place that she belongs? Is her family going to miss her? This is my interpretation of what happened in the 16th timeloop that Quentin and his friends are stuck in, and their subsequent battle with the Beast.

(Not an entry into the #BattletheBeast contest). Penny, in his trips to other worlds, stumbles upon one that houses an opportunity to summon a god. One that is trapped and yearning to break free. One that is, perhaps, willing to lend a helping hand to their cause of killing the Beast. All they have to do is navigate deceptive forests, avoid psychopathic pixies, religious fanatics and maybe do a little dance number, of a sort.

Eliot Waugh can't give up on the chance he had with the man he loves. No one really did get proof of concept like that. If Alice could come back from being a niffin, if Penny 23 could hop timelines, if Julia could become a goddess, if every other redemption was possible, then was his own.
