The story of a small town girl trying to fit in, doing what ever it takes to become one of the "cool kids" even putting her future at risk. Miranda has been to jail 18 times for menial crimes but on her 19th time it's for a crime she didn't do that will send her to jail for the rest for her life.

At midnight, 50 kilometres south of Tennant Creek, 200 cattle from a large station 25 kilometres away had escaped from their paddock. They were wondering in a large mob along the train line as The Ghan approached. The driver didn't see the cattle until it was too late. He slammed on the brakes and the train went right off the tracks. The Ghan skidded 100 metres before rolling three times!
