Mist had never truly understood what her role in the Equestrian World was. As a matter of fact, she didn't really care what it was. As far as she was concerned, she wanted to be an independent mare completely free of her royal call. But the raid changed everything. When Meteor, her father's enemy, attacked the Equestrian Capital, Mist had no idea that the evil horse would capture her. But as soon as she was locked in a cart and hauled off to Meteor's domain, her world flipped upside down. For the first time in her life, Mist couldn't control the situation. She hated feeling helpless and weak. But then Fog came. Despite being rejected by Mist each and every time he tried to reason with her, he did not give up trying to break through to her. His efforts again force Mist into an almost uncontrollable situation, but Fog is intent on achieving her friendship. But once he has it, will he be able to hold onto it?
