This is just a little summery of the setting and story of this book so you don't go in all confused! This book is set up in a different world, unlike ours where instead of cities, there are clans. Most clans are pretty run down and filled with criminals and all that jazz. ;p Some however are rich and full of life! All the clans have walls around them and are separated from the outside world. It's dangerous to go outside the walls and travel from one clan to another. When three friends go on a Journey to another clan to find a new better home, they discover that it has been destroyed and stripped of life. "What could have done such a thing? What is so heartless and cruel to have killed a whole clan....." Hunter exclaimed, horrified. "I don't know..... But whatever it is, i don't want to meet it." Jebediah said, picking up a ripped book and opening it. Suddenly, a noise came from the other side of a stone wall. Jeb dropped the book and looked up, alert. "Uh.... what was that?" Enna asked quietly, looking at the wall. Jeb slowly approached the side of the wall, pulling out his knife as he did so. "Let's find out."
