Nigel Melanchthon just turned 24 and finally got out of hell, literally, we'll not really hell the underworld is a better term for it. The reason for this he's Hades son the story behind his birth is that his mother met, gave birth to him, and died leaving Nigel in Hades care.Then Hades met Persephone well kidnapped (but hey they love each other now!) when Nigel was still a baby and Persephone adopted him as her own so they became a family, but after 24 years of being in a place where his only friends were dead he wanted out for at least a little while, so Hades made him a deal he can go live on Earth until his 25 birthday but then he has to come back and take over the job of being Lord of the Underworld this sounds all good and dandy to Nigel until Hades says that by that time he better have a bride. Nigel agrees thinking it will be easy to swoon some chick off the sreet last minute but what he does not know is that the place that Hades has arrange for him to stay at on 666th Street is back to back with the home of the firy and hot tempered but beautiful Alidade Drusys.
