The UF has been training Jessa Briggs to be a well oiled machine for the last 15 years. 20 years before, life on Earth changed when two separate Alien war parties battled for the molten core and earth's minerals. The Raze, a race hell bent on the pure destruction of all species and a enigmatic group they simply dub, Grims. After the Fall, the government lost its hold on the branched military forces and militias rose to power across the globe. United Force, based in what used to be Reno Nevada, quickly becomes a super power. Jessa is taken from her home in the deep woodlands of Former North Carolina and sold to the growing power of the UF at a very young age. Sweet, innocent Jessa is no more. The last 15 years have been spent tricking her superiors and plotting against the over bearing UF; she wants to take them down. All she needs is an Army. What she gets is a unlikely ally.

Hopefully I can develop this into a full series of books. The thin plot is that aliens that have been dormant since medieval times have been uncovered by miners in Nevada. The aliens' origins were uncovered days before humanity was devastated. They were named 'Mortai'by our ancestors and were driven underground in small numbers but hundreds of years spent underground allowed them to reproduce in recent years. When they were released they spread like wildfire, slaughtering humanity within a matter of months globally. Millions infest the planet, the number slowly reaching a billion. Humanity is struggling to cling onto life, desperate to not become extinct. Our main protagonist, Kat, is a teenage girl and we follow her story of her surviving the apocalypse. In this book she is attempting to reach the safe zone on the outskirts of the city but what will she have to go through to reach her destination..?

In a world cloaked in darkness, demons prey upon humanity under the veil of night, while demon slayers rise to protect the innocent. But when an advanced alien civilization sets its sights on Earth, intent on obliterating all life, a new chapter unfolds. Former adversaries must forge an unlikely alliance, setting aside centuries of animosity. As the fate of the world hangs in the balance, can demons and slayers overcome their differences and stand united against this existential threat? Kagaya Ubukuyashi: "The foremost duty of demon slayers isn't merely to exterminate demons, but rather to safeguard humanity. Even if it means allying with our sworn enemies, we must prioritize the preservation of human life above all else." Muzan Kibutsuji: "It is a matter of simple logic. Should the human race face extinction, so too will the demons perish. However, in this alliance, we shall reveal to these interlopers the true essence of demons and the power that lies within us." There will be references from other anime as well and they don't belong to me. I don't know if this idea is stupid or not but I just got inspiration from a movie.

This basically is a short story of an alien apocalypse I did for English Language that my friend @Becka'sKindom5 thought I should publish it here. Sorry if it's not very good. :)
