Mankind has been blessed to have discovered "Dreams". Where we can fly and do things that we before couldn't explain. Although- Among this heaven and this newly formed utopia, is there something lurking among the Dreamless?

"Song of the Phoenix" is a short story about a tortured teenaged boy living in a small town where he is bullied, marginalised, despised. Only one person has showed him any sympathy or kindness and that person - Elissa - has too many problems of her own to support him, let alone become the love of his life. It seems there's nothing and no-one for Michael - would anyone really miss him if he left forever? Before he goes Michael plans to show them all but things don't turn out as expected. Michael transforms into something other worldly, something vengeful, powerful and driven - can he remain in control? Will the undeserving be destroyed along with the bullies and how will Elissa feel as she is drawn into Michael's fiery anger.

Leah is seventeen and on the verge to graduate high school, when she forgets her key. She is left outside her house but noone lets her in. There are no people in sight or cars to be seen, Why is it she is the only one left where are her family, friends and neighbours? Where is everyone?
