Your mind is a burning room, a drowning storm, and a torturing fairy-tale all at once. Now, descend through its layers and discover what waits in the one place even the flames can't reach. Sad Sundays is my weekly space to share melancholic poetry, words that help me navigate the stillness, the weight, and the quiet storms of recovery. Each Sunday, I post a new piece that I've written, using poetry to process my journey through detox and rehab, to face the difficult parts of healing, and to find meaning in the silence. Every poem is written by hand with help from the Rhymezone platform. This series is as much for me as it is for anyone who finds comfort in knowing they're not alone on their gray days. I will eventually try to tie most of my work together into a larger piece, but first and foremost, this will function as a collection of my writings while I am going through detox. There may be an underlying story, but perhaps not. Find out next week, and join me for a Sad Sunday moment. New Upload every Sunday at 18:00 (6 PM) German time - CET/CEST (UTC+1/UTC+2).

"Are you ready? Can we begin?" "Yes, of course. But that cretin over there - is he just going to stand there like a statue and gawk?" "For God's sake, have at least a shred of respect..." "Mr. Finch, let us not be distracted by details..." "Fine. To hell with you. Ask your questions.." "What will I find if I open the spine and peer inside?" "I wouldn't venture to claim that you will derive pleasure to the extent you expect to derive it, if you catch my meaning. This story, strange and abnormal, leads through twisted labyrinths into the depths of monstrous childhood traumas and reflects the essence of modern society and every modern family in Little Gamp, which - despite the temptation to appear normal - certainly hides a couple of filthy secrets behind its doors that are better left unknown." "Every element, every character, and their objective perspective on the world is but a single frame in the overall picture of a story that, by all appearances, took shape long before the start of the events described in this work, yet which will continue to evolve and live in light of the decisions already made by our protagonists" "The mass murder at the Octopus restaurant" "A mystical operation in deep space to identify a strange SOS signal echoing from the depths of the galaxy" "The agitation and exigency of a public that spills out onto the city streets in hopes of sparking a revolution" "Merely frames in the overall picture?" "That is precisely what I said..." "But what lies behind all these events?" "If only I knew.." "And if you did know, would you tell?" "Ha! Definitely not!"

I saw life behind hazy glass panes. I lived on earth above suspended ground. My mother left me behind years ago, in the heights, where I could touch the clouds. It is not much, but I try my best. I know nothing of me, nor even my mother. All I knew that she was my guide, the nature inside and outside of things beyond. One might say that what I did wasn't living. But I never tried to live - I tried to be. As still as Life, as patient as Taro. For I know the rain shall cease. It is the only thing certain.

The Stranger (French: L'Étranger [letʁɑ̃ʒe], lit. 'The Foreigner'), also published in English as The Outsider, is a 1942 novella written by French author Albert Camus. The first of Camus's novels to be published, the story follows Meursault, an indifferent settler in French Algeria, who, weeks after his mother's funeral, kills an unnamed Arab man in Algiers. The story is divided into two parts, presenting Meursault's first-person narrative before and after the killing.Camus completed the initial manuscript by May 1941, with revisions suggested by André Malraux, Jean Paulhan, and Raymond Queneau that were adopted in the final version. The original French-language first edition of the novella was published on 19 May 1942, by Gallimard, under its original title; it appeared in bookstores from that June but was restricted to an initial 4,400 copies, so few that it could not be a bestseller. Even though it was published during the Nazi occupation of France, it went on sale without censorship or omission by the Propaganda-Staffel. Considered a classic of 20th-century literature, The Stranger has received critical acclaim for Camus's philosophical outlook, absurdism, syntactic structure, and existentialism (despite Camus's rejection of the label), particularly within its final chapter. Le Monde ranked The Stranger as number one on its 100 Books of the 20th Century. In Le Temps it was voted the third best book written in French in the 20th and 21st century by a jury of 50 literary connoisseurs. The novella has twice been adapted for film: Lo Straniero (1967) and Yazgı (2001), has seen numerous references and homages in television and music (notably "Killing an Arab" by The Cure), and was retold from the perspective of the unnamed Arab man's brother in Kamel Daoud's 2013 novel The Meursault Investigation. Unreality is a mysterious phenomenon that appears to take place when mentally unstable individuals project the contents of their subconscious onto reality, distorting the very fabric of space and transforming the surrounding environment into a perilous mindscape which reflects their innermost thoughts and feelings. An organization was created to deal with such incidents, and Virgil is one of its agents. He keeps a carefully cultivated solitary lifestyle, but his self-inflicted isolation is challenged when he meets Ariadne, a girl coping with sorrow and grief after the loss of her twin brother. The two begin to form a bond, but as Virgil comes across more and more cases of unreality, his own psyche starts to unravel, forcing him to confront his own mental scars and deep-seated feelings of alienation.

Though a short story, ' The Yellow Wallpaper ' is heavily layered with many inequalities, such as forced alienation, isolation, unequal gender dynamics, etc. that women of that era, faced, at the hands of patriarchal men. And even after 129 years of its first publication, it is still a very important book in the world of critics. And through this story, we are going to discuss how, " Alienation" can be considered a gift of freedom from arbitrary norms that those living on the margins of society did not make, and did not sanction.

Taylor has a fatal flaw: she's different. World War III has past and no country has won. The Illuminati, the rumored organisation, has manipulated the war into their favour. They have built a conformist global city with the ruins of the nuclear debri, and are now on a mission to forge a race of superhumans--humans with similar genetic codes that enable quick minds and superior strength. Humans are taught to shun the unusual--others who are cursed with uniqueness, or weaknesses as the Illuminati would label them. Unfortunately for Taylor, she has failed the test and is a weakness, a sore in society's eyes and must be rid of at any cost.
