After many years of what seemed like a blink of an eye, the legendary fairytales of the fairytale world are back, more spellbinding and diverse. Have you heard of an assumed villain behaving prim and princess-like? What about the spread of diversity among the usually stubborn stories? How about children with totally modern tastes, unlike their parents' wishes? Join the crew of the descendants of the fairytales of Ever After High we know today.

Bunny had a wonderful day out with Alistair, but on her way home; there was someone watching.

"B-But..." Alistair whined. "No buts! I have to do this on my own!" Alice screamed. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Alistair has seen his mother acting differently lately. One night, he catches her sneaking to Oz. Him, Raven, Apple, Faybelle, Lizzie, Maddie and Sparrow find their way to Oz. The Wizard of Oz has his finger tied around Alice. Throughout his journey, he also finds not only his mother, but his family.

This is the story of Chase Redford, the Red Knight, soon to be the Red Queen, of Chess. When the border closes between Wonderland and Ever After, and shatters his family, Chase is left picking up the pieces-- and discovers that nothing is as it seems. Alistair, with his mother still struggling from the abuse she faced over her mental health, helps Chase unravel the twisted web he's caught in-- though he has his own quest to complete. Darling Charming is still reeling from the knowledge she's Apple White's princess- and from the fact that Headmaster Grimm has forbade her from revealing this to Apple. As Darling strives to get closer to Apple, her own role is called in to question. All of them find out far more about themselves, each other, and their worlds than they were prepared to. The Wonderlandian kids are pulled back into their parents' homeland to discover a great danger is threatening the balance of the kingdoms. They join a task force in an agency and are sent to Hearts Kingdom to save Wonderland. On their quest they meet new people and reunite with old friends and discover secrets of Wonderland.
