(This fanfiction takes place AFTER "Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood", so there are spoilers if you have not finished the series!) Roy's chess game has finally been won, and he is Fuhrer. He gets his vision back and for a moment everything is perfect, but then someone steals his future queen. Elizabella Rockbell was never interested in becoming a state alchemist. She was more than happy following Edward Elric and his brother Alphonse Elric around whilst helping them in their missions, though that was mostly due to her insane crush on Ed. But when Elizabella suffers heartache in the form of knowing that the one person whom you love will never be yours, she becomes estranged from her cousin, Winry Rockbell and the only best friends she had ever known. But these actions have consequences that Elizabella never foretold and once learning about how her family is coping, years after severing the ties she held with them, she goes about returning things back to normal. However, when a new alchemist rears their head and threatens to destroy everything that Elizabella and her friends had worked so hard for long ago, they can do nothing but set to destroying them in order to keep peace within their home country. With tensions rising, and the help of old friends and new, Elizabella helps to track down the alchemist as well as deal with her own issues within her circle. Everyone knows the story and Edward and Alphonse Elric, but what Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood forgot was the storyline of their lifelong friend. This is the story of Elizabella Rockbell.
