It's normal to have only one friend, and it's normal for that one friend to be a girl. Well that's not exactly what Artemis West's parents thought when they shipped him of to 'Camp Landon' an all boys camp, in hopes of him making actual friends. Friends that are not Kami Valentine, his clingy over-protective friend. But Kami doesn't want Artemis' to leave, so instead of saying goodbye she packs her bags, changes her name to Cameron, buys a wig, all in order to sneak into this all boys camp. But thanks to Kami's femininity and Artemis' lanky body and their strange closeness- everyone thinks they are a gay couple. Much to Aaron Vegas' dismay. Who tries everything to get this "beautiful couple" to break-up, just so he can swoop in and have, the strictly straight, Artemis to himself.
