Alex has always been in love with Hailee. Since that first day they met, when 9 year old Alex hid his black eye (given to him by some upperclassmen) and tears behind a poetry book as he sat alone on the swings. Alone that is, until little Hailee came along with her understanding nature and bubbly sense of humour that has always managed to put a smile on his face. Now 18, how could Alex not love the only girl that ever showed love to him? Unbeknownst to this, Hailee has been best friends with Alex for years. What Alex doesn't know is that Hailee has a secret.
