The day for the Choosing Ceremony has finally come, but what will it have in store for Tobias and his twin sister? Pre-Tris. All characters (apart from Catarina) belong to the epic Veronica Roth

Abnegation. Erudite. Candor. Dauntless. Amity. Our faction names. Each has a different quality they look down on, and one they all posses. Abnegation: looks down on selfishness; possesses selflessness Erudite: Looks down on stupidity; possesses intelligence Candor: Looks down on lying; possesses honesty Dauntless: Looks down on cowardice; possesses bravery Amity: Looks down on aggressiveness; possesses peacefulness These traits all seem to help prevent another war that could kill 98% of the human race. There are, however, cons to these traits. The Amity are passive, the Dauntless tend to be cruel. When someone turns sixteen, they take the aptitude test which tells them which faction they're supposed to be in. However, the test doesn't affect our choices. Then the next day, there's the Choosing Ceremony when you decide if you're going to stay in your faction, or change. Then there's those who are Divergent. The ones who's test results gave them multiple factions. I've always thought maybe I'd be Divergent, but there's a problem. I'm not smart. I'm not peaceful. I'm not selfless. I'm not honest. Am I even brave?

So, naturally after reading allegiant I wanted to burn my book. I read a few fanfics but nothing was giving me exactly what I wanted so I decided to write my own ending. [this is for an Instagram contest, please please please leave comments and let me know what you think!] i was roughed up in dauntless; always taught to fight for what i believe in. but how can i concentrate on throwing a knife when questions fly through my head every 5 seconds? why fight for something you're taught to believe in when you don't know what it all means? i know can find out for myself. i already get picked on for being too smart, so why not embrace who i am? i intend to learn more from teachers in erudite than i possibly can from the people showing me how to throw fists in dauntless. i know my life is destined for more than guns and uniforms, and i will find out so much more about the world i'm expected to live in and about who i really am where i belong-in erudite

Amity. They're supposed to be peaceful. In the Aptitude test, Amity results are usually Abnegation or Erudite, and sometimes it even tells them to stay with their own faction. But not everyone follows the test. Not even the quietest, sweetest, most innocent peace-seeking boy. He chooses the exact opposite of Amity. Because of his test results.

Y/N, born and raised in Candor, now finds herself in a new faction where everything is not as it seems. Divergent isn't an easy thing to be, and it's even harder when you suspect there's a hunter in your midst. Hello! This is my first real story, so expect it to be crappy.
