In the year 2027, the earth is destroyed by the nukes of world war 3. Johnny , one of the last humans of earth, wakes up 50 years later from cyrosleep before the bombs hit. when he wakes up and goes out side, theirs no life to be seen. Some time passes after trying to not to go insane, he sees a flash of light in the clouds. He quickly gets a flare gun and shoots it. Moments later....he makes contact.

Nova Scheean is a six living in Allens, Illéa. She is 16 years old, which means she is eligible to enter the Selection, and win over Prince Cassian's heart. In this story, Nova makes friends and enemies, finds family and love, and must ultimately make the decision the will change her entire future.
