A young girl has lost her mom as a child and her dad looks after her and her brother as a single parent. She has been home-schooled her whole life due to her living in Hilo, Hawaii where it rains almost everyday and she suffers from a rare condition called "Aquagenic urticaria" which resulted in her being cooped up in the house all day everyday.

Kat Danvers suffers from Photosensitivity or what is commonly known as being allergic sun. Her whole life has been bland, bland hospital room, bland food, nothing is exciting. Well that is untill an outbreak leaves the hospital in outrage, leading to Kat being accidentally placed in the " Mental Needs" branch. This is her taste of freedom, a chance to be partly normal. This is not going to be bland.

Rhinitis is the inflammation of the mucous membrane that lines the nose. This swelling produces symptoms commonly associated with allergies and the common cold: runny nose, stuffiness, congestion, and sneezing. There are different causes that can be experienced acutely (temporary) or chronically. Recurrent nasal blockage/discharge that lasts for more than 12 weeks and doesn't resolve on its own is called chronic rhinitis. It often results from irritation or inflammation in the nose which impacts daily life and wellness. According to the Asthma and Allergy Foundation of America, more than 50 million people experience various types of allergies every year. Knowing the source of your allergies, reducing exposure, and treating symptoms can significantly reduce the impact of chronic rhinitis.
