That's where they shipped me off after my 'accident' as they like to call it. However it was no accident at all." Sixteen year old Addie struggles through several mental illnesses. And after a suicide attempt, is forced to pack her bags for Maywood Hill. Recovering isn't at all easy when she refuses to talk to any of the school therapists or participate in weekly group therapy sessions. And there is one more thing, Addie's roommate Annabelle.

Astrid was born seventeen human years ago. Compared to her brothers and sisters who were born eons ago, she was but a fledgeling. Father created her for a specific mission, and now, she was asked to descend to a small town called Celestial Cove. Together with her siblings, Gabriel and Celeste, they lived with the humans while looking out for signs of evil activity. However, Astrid seemed to be blending in with the humans easily, as if she was born as one. With this, she couldn't help but be attracted to the "Captain Braniac", Stephen. Astrid had powers no other angel had, but she had no control over them. With malevolent intentions lurking in Celestial Cove, would Astrid be able to stop them with her power, or would she fail because of her infatuation with a human?
