Sylvia and her mother move to the Galar region, where her mother will work to help find a successor for her grandmother's gym, and Sylvia will try her luck in the gym challenge. **Sylvia is just a made up character, she isnt from the games and I just wanted to write a sword/shield fic!! I never actually insert myself into x reader books so I decided to just make up my own character Also, this is written more as a real-life sort of book, with actual human problems and not just stuff out of the game as I kinda wanted a more realistic approach and more to work with!

Y/n, twin of the Gym Leader Allister. After his gift of a special Pokémon, the two of you have been inseparable. Until one day, you left him at a very young age and lived with Raihan for years until you were old enough to participate in the Gym Challenge. Boo was your main Pokémon. He was an oddly colored Zorua who followed you everywhere you went. You were badly injured over your eye when Raihan's dragon spirit took over and attacked you. That's when you went out and caught an eevee of the same field, oddly colored. You discover they are Shiny, and really rare to find. It evolves into Sylveon, which isn't your ideal typing choice, but it keeps Raihan's dragon at bay. Her names Slush. Third and fourth choices for a team are an Absol, named Solstice and an Umbreon named Allister in memory of your brother. Life seems to falls into its final pieces when you finally reunite with your brother, recalling from your gym challenge to join him as a gym challenge leader.

Allister is the youngest gym leader there is he's eight years old, an gym leader, and homeschooled, so who is it that takes care of him? Your first thought might be Bea, but you got to remember she is busy with her own work as a gym leader, and her own stuff in her own life. No Allister has a mother. Teresa is Allister's mother; she spoils the life out of that boy, but can you blame her he's her baby boy ( or, try's to ). Teresa has been gone do to a family emergency in the Kanato region, but she's home.

Stow-On-Side was a town like any other. Pokémons living there have fun in the wild or have fun with their respective trainers. A Stadium resides there, and a young child bears the title of Gym Leader. Ghost-type Pokémon frequently haunt that place, and not so many tourists like to be there. (Y/N), a young Dark-type Pokémon master is traveling with their partners around the Galar region. Who knew that they would become friends with such a mysterious yet charming figure?... Every character in this fanfiction (Except for (Y/N)) belongs to Game Freak and/or the International Pokémon Company. Every event listed in this book is purely fictional and is not meant to be taken seriously. Yes, there will be some things that are not canon to Pokémon lore. OK, writing this stupid description for the third time!- This is a Pokémon based story that takes place in the galar region (the newest region at this time). This story will follow the adventures of a young girl that goes by the name Allura, and her best friend and partner Mimikyu. During this adventure our main characters will find new friends, new rivals, new Pokémon, and all of the other cliché things a new trainer should come across. But fret not, for this story might not be that boring maybe something may cause them to venture off of the planed path and hopefully make this dumb story worth reading somehow. Pokémon does not belong to me, I only own the Oc trainers that are put into the story and any made up Pokémon that may or may not appear. there will be little to no romance because fluffy stuff like that just makes me cringe.
